Jay Gabel is a former Madison actor who recently moved to Chicago to cliche the cliche. He moved to Madison in 2006 to go to Edgewood College, where he graduated with degrees in Theatre and Communication Studies. After graduating, he spent some time in the community, doing shows with many local companies, including Mercury, Strollers, Out!Cast, and a few back at Edgewood. His last role before moving was Robin Hood in Nottingham! at Broom St. Theatre. Since moving to Chicago, Jay works part-time for Chicspeare Productions, a group that performs Shakespeare scenes in high schools to help teach the text. He's currently writing his first screenplay, an upcoming full length picture from Soft Cage Films (check out their crazy-cool stuff at www.softcagefilms.com). He'll also be co-hosting "The Podcast Without Fear," a commentary track for Netflix's "Daredevil" series, which should launch by the end of the month. For updates on that and what he's up to in general, you can follow Jay on Twitter @ThunderyOyster or Facebook at facebook.com/kingmattress17

You know, there's a million fine looking women in the world, dude. But they don't all bring you lasagna at work. Most of 'em just cheat on you. From an undisclosed location (we weren't even supposed to BE there today), we talk about Kevin Smith's indie debut, "Clerks!" I don't appreciate your ruse, ma'am.
