Matt Cibula is western by birth, eastern by temperment, midwestern by choice, and naughty by nature. An author of children's books, plays, music and media reviews, and letters to his creditors, Matt has represented both Madison and Chicago at the National Poetry Slam, and in the hearts of a troubled nation. Rumors of Hollywood interest in "The 13 Club: Triskaidekaphobia," his 2013 play for the Mercury Players Theatre "Blitz" series, have been greatly exaggerated, especially in this one-paragraph bio. He has had coffee with Diane DiPrima in a kitchen in New Jersey, beers with Donal Logue in a Massachusetts theater, and a Twitter beef with Kelly Clarkson.
