Takeo Sugihara was born in the Bronx but raised in the diverse cosmopolitan community of Montclair in eclectic Northern New Jersey. Professionally he is a Reference Librarian/IT Manager. He loves movies, though not as much as Rob, and particularly animated films and science fiction. He also loves music and at times subjects people at various Open Mics to his performances. He also loves computers, technology and real science. Most of all, he loves the community that all the aforementioned things continue to bring him. Lastly, he loves his friends and family who continue to not only make life bearable but worthwhile…even if he doesn’t always show it.

Can ya smoke it? Can ya drink it? Can ya lie in it? Then lie in it with me. From Rob's childhood home in Montclair, New Jersey, we talk about Ralph Bakshi's 1981 animated adult feature "American Pop." You're the prize in my box. And my box is this country. It's all tinfoil on the outside. Corn and sweetness on the inside.

Rick first cast Rob Matsushita as the stoic, immoral Kauffman in the dark class warfare comedy Please Please Please Love Me. He subsequently directed Rob in the schizophrenic Control Freaks in Love and the historical-martial arts-conspiracy mash-up Michelangelo, Renaissance P.I., which Rob also choreographed. He also acted besides Rob in Joel Gersmann’s phenomenal holiday extravaganza, Nazi Boy. He later moved to New York where he directed Rob’s genteel comedy of manners Orange Murder Suit, as well as assistant produced the high literature-based Boogie of the Planet of the Apes, both for the New York Frigid Festival. Finally, both he and Rob deny to this day that they were ever part of Gersmann’s all-male, heroin-dealer, South Central L.A. adaptation of Anton Checkov’s The Three Sisters.

Lee Potcher (known as Potch) is a New Jersey based, New York employed commuter who likes to dabble in music, writing, acting and softball when not watching tv and movies at home with his wife and two cats. You may have seen him as the singer/guitarist in the band Overtime, the singer in The Stormy Weather Band, as Capobianco on the show Chapel, as catcher on his softball team or as the snoring commuter on the bus next to you. He speaks three languages fluently: English, Sarcasm and Profanity. He is half wiseass on both parents sides and has decided that people suck. Well most people. But not you. You're great!

Eric Stratton, damn glad to meet you. This episode, brought to you from a coffee shop in New York City, we discuss the 1978 comic masterpiece "Animal House." That was Eric Stratton. He was damn glad to meet you.
