Come to Los Angeles! The sun shines bright, the beaches are wide and inviting, and the orange groves stretch as far as the eye can see. You could even be discovered, become a movie star...or at least see one. This week, we discuss one of the best screen police procedural movies ever made, the brilliant "L.A. Confidential." Go back to Jersey, sonny. This is the City of the Angels, and you haven't got any wings.

Host Rob Matsushita is a playwright, author, and filmmaker. You can learn more about his work at IverPictures.com.

I got tired of coming up with last-minute desperate solutions to impossible problems created by other f***ing people. This week, we're going to talk about "Under Siege," arguably the best Steven Seagal movie (because technically, "Machete" doesn't count). Hey, get my pies out of the oven!

Pretend we did blow up the school. Pretend we blew up all the schools. Now that we're dead, we're gonna discuss the 1989 pitch-black comedy "Heathers." Essss-keee-MO. That's perfecto.

Harold, are we on COPS? Are we on COPS? Are we on COPS, Harold? On this week's episode, we discuss the underrated and misunderstood comedy "Drop Dead Gorgeous." I hope I end up a little more like Diane Sawyer than my mom.

Everything is pretty much exactly the same except Karin is pregnant and Lars is nuts. On this week's episode, we discuss Craig Gillespie's quirky, daring, and lovable comedy "Lars And The Real Girl." Sometimes I get so lonely I forget what day it is, and how to spell my name.

There is no B-3 bomber, and I don't know why these rumors get started. 'Tis another Skype-a-sode, where we talk about the David Mamet-scripted, Barry Levinson-directed political satire "Wag The Dog." This is nothing, this is--this is--this is just, "Act One, The War." Now we really do need an Act Two.

Matt Cibula is western by birth, eastern by temperment, midwestern by choice, and naughty by nature. An author of children's books, plays, music and media reviews, and letters to his creditors, Matt has represented both Madison and Chicago at the National Poetry Slam, and in the hearts of a troubled nation. Rumors of Hollywood interest in "The 13 Club: Triskaidekaphobia," his 2013 play for the Mercury Players Theatre "Blitz" series, have been greatly exaggerated, especially in this one-paragraph bio. He has had coffee with Diane DiPrima in a kitchen in New Jersey, beers with Donal Logue in a Massachusetts theater, and a Twitter beef with Kelly Clarkson.

Have you paid your dues, Jack? Yes, Sir, the check is in the mail. On this week's episode, we discuss John Carpenter's cult masterpiece "Big Trouble In Little China." May the wings of liberty never lose a feather.

Yep, this is definitely the kind of apartment I'll have if I ever move out of my parents' basement. 'Tis another Skype-a-sode, where we talk about the 90's classic, "Wayne's World!" Contract or no, I will not bow to any sponsor.

I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. 'Tis another Skype-a-sode, where we talk about Paddy Chayefsky and Sidney Lumet's terrifyingly prescient "Network." You have meddled with the primal forces of nature, Mr. Beale, and I won't have it.
